Standing Strong Together: Douglass Cornerstone Hosts Inaugural Fundraising Luncheon
On Saturday, November 5, 2016, we hosted our Inaugural Fundraising Luncheon at the Douglass Community Center.
Thanks to the support of our supporters, donors, sponsors, and volunteers, the luncheon was a huge success! The luncheon included warm and heartfelt thanks and comments from our Executive Director, Mia Peete and our guests and a delicious meal catered by DeJaVu Restaurant, a New Orleans Creole Soul Food and Vegetarian Restaurant, located in Downtown Memphis. The Douglass Cornerstone Choir also did a wonderful and touching rendition of "We Are The World".
On behalf of the board of Douglass Cornerstone and Mia Peete, the founder and executive director, thank you to all of our faithful and generous supporters, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and parents for all that God has done through you all. This could not have been such a tremendous success without you!
We appreciate you! For additional opportunities to donate, please visit www.douglasscornerstone.org/donate.
