Douglass Cornerstone Brings Thanksgiving Cheer To The Douglass Community
November is the month of for the season of Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, it is also the beginning of a season of depression for many people.
In celebration of the Thanksgiving season, Douglass Cornerstone hosted their Turn Up Today Assembly (TUTA) sponsored by The Beehive Love Fellowship, incorporated a Thanksgiving themed meal and lesson for their Wednesday session at the Douglass Community Center, located at 1616 Ash Street, Memphis, TN 38108.
The week’s lesson came from Luke 17:15 , which included ways to give thanks, how to give thanks, and the difference that giving thanks make, “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God.”
The Thanksgiving celebrations will continue on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at our Kingdom Hands Thanksgiving Feast at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Mt. Olive Church, located at 3011 Mt. Olive, Memphis, TN 38108. Our goal is to feed 150 undeserved community residents.
