Standing Strong Together: Douglass Cornerstone Hosts Inaugural Fundraising Luncheon
On Saturday, November 5, 2016, we hosted our Inaugural Fundraising Luncheon at the Douglass Community Center.
Thanks to the support of our supporters, donors, sponsors, and volunteers, the luncheon was a huge success! The luncheon included warm and heartfelt thanks and comments from our Executive Director, Mia Peete and our guests and a delicious meal catered by DeJaVu Restaurant, a New Orleans Creole Soul Food and Vegetarian Restaurant, located in Downtown Memphis. The Douglass Cornerstone Choir also did a wonderful and touching rendition of "We Are The World".
